2025 Newsletter
Greetings fellow Lincolnshire residents! We hope this letter finds you and your families well. While we prepare for the 2025 season we’d like to take this opportunity to look back on this previous year and into our plans for the future. This past year held many events including the annual Memorial Day bike parade at which time the fire department actually allowed our children to use and spray the fire hoses right off the truck, a fantastic fourth of July that was catered by City BBQ. The Swanbeck brothers were dethroned leaving Mike Schroeder and Jamie Durham as the reigning conrhole champs. We had an awesome turnout for The Lincolnshire Cook Off on Labor Day, (many thanks to Mike Bagely), the Easter egg hunt and Halloween trunk or treat, (thanks to Valerie Bubenko). We’re looking forward to seeing what the new year will bring and what memories will be made.2024 saw some much needed improvements to our facilities: a significant renovation to the restrooms which included new epoxy floors, new toilets and baby changing stations. A multi-camera security system for the entire pool area, park area, and tennis/basketball courts was installed, and we also replaced numerous lounge chairs as well as umbrellas. An additional upgrade to the pump house was recently completed which consisted of replacing the motor starter, disconnect, fuse panel, as well as having the wiring replaced so that it is now to code and will not continue to blow fuses. We will also be having the non-operational exhaust fan replaced in the pump house ceiling. Thank you once again to Tom Morganstern and volunteers that spent their free time helping make our park beautiful this past year. Your hard work is greatly appreciated by all. If anyone would like to help this year, please reach out to a trustee to get involved.
